Great derby weekend

We had a great weekend, caught close to 75 fish. Nothing over 8.5 pounds.. All but 2 caught on the hand lines. All released to get bigger!

Some really hard old school fishing father and son style and caught a total of 32 lakers but no money fish this year...a couple in the 9 lb range and the smallest about 6 lbs. We kept 9 fish to give to other folks on land to eat who couldn't get out there and there were some smiling faces when we opened the cooler we had for them   A lot of fun but not much sleep ....pretty burned out right now

Nice going you guys, 70 some fish off the hand lines makes for fierce lumbago, Les I can believe that your burned out, physically and mentally, a day in the recliner with a few cold ones usually does the trick!!! Two thumbs up for your effort, to bad you couldn't make it on to the $$$ board. Take care Les, PAP.
