So I had to work today, and thought I wasn't going to be able to fish.... However I was able to get out of work very early, and got a nice bonus trip in this afternoon.

We started at 4:30 pm in about 90 feet of water on a northwest troll. We Actually spent the first AND the last part of the day looking for Kings in that 90-110 range. There were a few marks but really no takers, mostly around 40-50 down.

Seeing that the inside water probably wasn't going to work (yet) we pointed north looking for steelhead. Water temp on the surface was about 54°, but once we passed that 190 area, it dropped on very quickly to 46 or so at 210. We got out to as far as about 220, and the water temp out there was 44. Our best water was right about 200. We were straight out front.

There was a pretty good break for us to work and the steelhead were very cooperative. We had one very good hour of pretty much a fish every five minutes. Nothing of great size, but definitely fun to catch. They all took little red spoons off the boards with three split shot.

At the end of the day I got greedy and went back and looking for Kings, and of course struck out. However it's a lot easier to go looking for things once you've had a bunch of fish in the boat. Can't wait to get back out this weekend and spend some more time on those steelhead.

Here are a few that we got pics of (tried to get them back in quick)
