Spin Doctors - Action

Its been a while since I really took a look at some of my equipment and trying to develop better techniques I'm wondering what most of you

use the less action or more action hole on a Spin Doctor or is there more that comes into play like time of season and water depth or type of fish?

 

Usually I'm out there hoping to hook anything, all replies appreciated.

My experience has mostly been on the less action hole. The biggest thing I change up is size or to a board that flutters versus spins.

I use the setting that they come with which is the more action then adjust the lengths of my flies standard is 21 but sometime I have them out to 30
