Otisco 5-31

My son made it out bass fishing today and in addition to a great smallmouth bite he picked up 3 30ish tigers.  2 came on kitech swimbaits and 1 on a bass crankbait that was hanging over the gunwale with 2 feet of line out.  2 were caught at the fire rescue boat and 1 on the west shore near the causeway.  He also had a follow from a better fish.  All 3 fish were released with handling or netting.  Every boat out today did well on bass,tigers, and crappie.  1 boat had several 15-16 inch white crappie caught on curl tails.

sounds like the tiger action has been better than the eyes so far this year.  good for him!

East shore maybe a mile up from the marina. When the fire rescue boat on its lift its easy to spot. Of course its not in yet...eye action has been good for a week plus....just not everywhere.

That sounds awesome JT, I never caught a Muskie but a boat load of pike in my time. What's the average size smallies you catch out of Otisco?
