Last time out, Memorial Day. We fished the south end 50 out to 180. West side of the lake had lots of crap on the surface. Not marking much of anything anywhere ..

I spoke with a guy at the launch, said he owned seneca bait before billy bob, anywAy, he said something about the salt plants.... Last year they changed regulations about how much salt they can discharge back into the lake. He said they increased the rates by quite a bit. Anyone know anything about that, or potential impacts?

Dave,

The fishing is horrible out here. Between the Brine from the Salt plants and pesticides from the Wineries, the water quality is being destroyed. Stick with Cayuga and you'll catch more fish.

Yet the wineries are against the salt plants and LPG...

Ironic fits that situation.
