Perseverance pays off

After only catching couple walleyes in six earlier outings, today was a better day. Went 4 for 6 on quality fish and caught three drum that kept us busy. There were alewives in their stomachs and gulls were diving on bait. Caught them from 20-- 45 fow on sticks and spoons. Thanks for information from this site that definitely helped out.

Way to go Kevin, have not been opening weekend. The weather has not been the greatest along with the wind on the weekends. Hoping to get out on the river at some point this weekend and try it if not next weekend for sure 4 day weekend. Been told has picked up around the Berg and Waddington area.
