Wire and mono spliced w slide divers

Can you tie to wire mono, to run dipsey slide diver with a twirly tip? Will the mono handle the tip as far as breaking/wear? Thanks for response.

I tie a short piece of 50lb braid to my wire then do a back to back uniknot to 30lb mono for the slide diver. Let's me easily change out the mono when it wears.

Tying a wire knot to a smaller Spro swivel (50 or 80# power swivel) then tying on the mono works good for me.

Like Capt Andy had said,, small spro swivel will do the job. I also use an Albright knot sometimes for wire to braid, but for mono would stick to the swivels.
