Got out after the storms passed last night and fished 1-4. Struggled in high wind getting the boat positioned and the anchor to hold, but as soon as the wind died a bit we were on em. Finished with 3 and Matt missed 6. Fish all came on surface and weighed 4, 6.25, 7.5 lbs.

Ya know...I remember reading in In-Fisherman a few years back something to the affect that fishing after a big storm is futile, especially if it involves a lot of lightening. I guess you dispelled THAT notion. Good job.

When you are "ON" the bait in the right place the eyes will show up to some degree at least 30-40 straight days regardless of wind, weather, or moon. Don't get me wrong classic good nights ie cloudy, on shore chop, on a full moon are better....way better! Lightning was still flashing while we were fishing....
