ANYONE KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO CHANGE THE BELLOWS ON A ALPHA 1 4.3 LX  EXHAUST  DO YOU  NEED TO REMOVE THE OUTDRIVE ON THE MERCRUISER

I have never done it myself but I understand the out drive needs to come off. I have paid for it twice to be done.

Yes the driveshaft for the outdrive goes through it.  I would do all three the shift, the exaust, and the main .   Grease the u-joints, and splines and check the alinement of the out drive to the engine too.
