I new it was gonna be a tough night because of the boat traffic and the poker run today but after reading Kevins post and Prof T earlier in the week this would be my first chance to get out on the river and give it a try. Tried trolling 4 diff. spots with 9 oz BB and rapala and also tried worm harness and jigging. I did manage to jig 4 gobys in about 65 to 70 fow. I did all my trolling in 30 to 45 fow. To me the water seems to be cold for this time of year, I fished Lisbon opening day near the port and the water was 50 degrees then tonight the river was 56.

I didn't catch any the last two times I tried.

Kevin, I am trying to remember if the water temp is colder than normal, I am thinking it should be in mid 60's.to upper.

Yeah,

Boat traffic pretty intense yesterday and I agree that the water is behind warming up this year.

Going to hit it again tonight. Will keep you posted.

Bays are much warmer but channel is still cold.
