Okuma reel drag

Hey I have a few okuma line counter reels and for the most part they work great. I was trolling the other day with dipsys and noticed that even on the max drag one of the older reels was still slowly spinning and letting out line. Is there any easy fix to this or is the reel shot?

A cleaning and service (including parts) probably would be half the cost or less of a new one.

If you do send it for repairs take the opportunity to have some carbon fiber drags put in. You won't be sorry.

Felt washers compress over time. Upgrade to carbontex material. More sensitive to adjustment, stronger drag pressures and dont wear out like felt
