Ok so I want to fish cayuga and plan on going out of taughanock falls state park next sunday. We have a 18ft lund with 2 cannon down riggers. We also have boards dipsys. Anyone know where to fish for trout and what to us. I imagine spoons.

Try closer to the bank 45-65 fow with spoons. Fish the bait and marks on your screen.

I wouldn't ignore the upper 40 ft either over whatever for silvers especially and with small to medium orange/red spoons trolled at a little faster speed than for lakers.  There are often landlocks hanging out near the park. . Early AM before the sun goes high is usually the best time or later in the afternoon /evenings. If you notice any bug hatches happening run some lines near the surface with small spoons run way back (100ft or more) for potential silvers active near the surface. Have to experiment with the deeper stuff (e.g. flasher/spinney fly combos) too especially if you spot bait pods anywhere.
