Sonars(Oneida)

What color sonars are people using? I've got a couple, but the only thing I've caught with any of them is pickerel. Going to Runnings tonight, figure I'll pick up a couple more, but need a pointer or two on colors that work

I have some perch colored sonars that I got from Bartel Bait and they work well. I also use gold.

5/8 oz gold sonar is my favorite with the perch color close behind

Perch is hard to beat! If you think you are on fish and can't get them to go don't be afraid to rip up off bottom a little harder than you'd think. Reaction bite works and I think it weeds out the dinks.

Green/chartruse prism tape on a chrome sonar-type blank works.

I've a LOT of foul hook-ups(side of the head, in the eye, under the lower lip) with sonars than otherwise.

One year on Oneida, there were a bunch-o-fish congreated in one area for some time, and it was not a secret.

Lampreys are gone from Oneida, but from the looks of those legal and short fish, you'd not think so.
