Launched out of Taughannock Sunday to try and find some bigger fish, headed North and set up a shallow water program. Couldn't get three rods in and it was a bit of a frenzy just south of the boy scout camp. Two dinky salmon and a couple small Lakers. Headed toward Kidders and we keep hitting fish in any clear water we find just before a mud line. Lots of small salmon and Lakers around 2 lbs. So I decide to hit a spot on the east shore that produced a few bigger Lakers two weeks earlier. We hit 370' and mark a bunch of bait, rigger at 50' goes off and in comes a decent 7 lber before landing him the #1 dipsy goes and we have two 7 plus in the boat. Couple more circles and land three more of the same class fish. Overall we ended up with a high 20 number in the boat with quite a few drops, a few of them ripped some drag, probably the silvers we needed. The weigh in had some truly good looking LL, browns and bows. Congratulations to winners! We ended up middle of the pack with 21lb 5oz with three Lakers. Dam silver's, next time at Seneca! Looking forward to her!

Everything took shots hot lures were purple alpha alewife FLT, and his custom paddle with uv fly on dipsy back 280.

Nice report John and you had some real tough competitors there too.  Where are the "Silvers" when you need them eh?

Awesome job and report John..Well I had a plan after fishing over there a week before hand and finding some real quality fish but to no prevail. . Put a 5 fish box together but just didn't have the size I needed and knew it all day and it was definitely frustrating. . I hate leaving active fish to find fish but this time I should have... I believe we boated 36 fish and had a great day considering the weather we had the day before... Awesome Job to Brent who won the tournament and it was only his second FLTA tournament with the club.. Congrats to everyone I missed and see you all at Seneca ... P.s The bait was unreal all day long was suprised they were even hungry

We had a great time also and congrats to the tops five finishers who put some really nice boxes together. Can't wait to get back to Cayuga!

Thank you Mike. It was a rainy start but ended up being dry most of the day. Had to dodge some wood but overall a good day. Worked my butt off keeping lines out. I slept like a baby Sunday night. Great turnout also. See you all on the 12th.

Brent, great job and congratulations on the win, believe I saw you in Mickey D's afterword, really like the rig you have. Looking forward to the competition in Seneca, watch out for Joe Joe!

Mike think we tied my wife said doesn't that take a point off of Joe's total if you two tied?? Don't know but there must be a shuffle in the standings, lol!

If two boats tie, they split the points for the two positions and their scores end up ending in .5 points.

For example, if two boats tie for third, you add the third place points (48) to the forth place points (47), and divide the total (95) by 2. Each boat would be rewarded with 47.5 points. The next finishing boat would be 5th and receive 46 points.
