Fair Haven July 4th

Lumpy's Lunkers headed out in the am and headed west out of the chute to poke around for browns. The water had warmed up in there and there was no fish or bait so we headed out north and set up in 90'. When we made it out to 120 or so the screen showed a lot of bait but no takers so we turned north again and when we hit 170' the 125' dipsy pulling a wht/green dots spin doctor and green fly took off screaming! After a long battle, a 24lb King hit the deck. We turned around and fished that same area and took some nice year class steelies on the same set-up and 300 copper pulling mountain dew F/F. It was a fun morning for us, anyway.

its good to see the water warming maybe the lake will set up and things start happening Im heading out 7/25 to Fair Haven for 2 weeks crossing my fingers

How are things at Fair Haven did Jumping Jack find the Kings yet

I fished Thursday July 9th out of FH. Set up in 100 and pushed out to 300. Did a small king 8 lbs and a Laker in 180 fow. No bait or marks on screen. Pushed back in to 150-100 range started seeing some decent marks and streakers. Doubled up on 103 rigger with glow green spoon and 310 dipsey with green flasher green fly in 138 feet. Decent 14 lb king and 12 lb Laker. Everyone I talked to said most action was 120-170 fow

Headed out 25th-29th myself. Will look you guys up. Last weekend the boat did a bunch of teenagers and a 20lber. Basically green everything with a 42nd spinny gold back and green fly doing a lot of the damage over the same water as Bout Time.
