We fished outside the isthmus and near the green can outside Chaumont Bay on 7/6. No 'eyes, but did drag up this beast.

Took forever to bring in. We thought huge northern, muskie or laker until it surfaced and gave up. Kept running. Fun fight.

Never caught a carp trolling. I bet the hit was crazy

Best fighting fish there is, but still a let down when you figure out its a carp! I've caught 2 trolling...both were down about 30'...1 was snagged off a rigger with spin tackle the other swallowed a tdd11 off boards.
