I'm taking some guys out Sunday evening and was wondering if anyone has been out?  (I haven't been out since Memorial Day).

I didn't do particularly well up north last week when I was there. I did pick up a few smaller Lakers in front of bellhurst in 130 foot of water. I caught them on a variety of spoons/flies/cowbell 's and spin n glow.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess they want to go perch fishing now. I haven't been perch fishing in 20 years lol. They may be disappointed!

Does anyone have a favorite depth for perch in the summertime?

Well panfish are definitely safe from me! We tried the inside (10 fow) & outside (25 fow) of the weed beds. Used dropshot rigs with worms, fatheads, & crabs...not even a sunfish.

Sorry to hear you didn't make out better with the perch. I haven't personally fished for them on Seneca buy will be trying for them next year at the Seneca Duck Hunters perch tourney. I also know that getting info from the local guys is like trying to pull a tooth from Flava Flav. There's a reason they call them Seneca Gold I guess!! Haha.

I've heard of getting them in 60 ft + this time of year. Ole Dino use to be out there slamming em deep and their air bladders look like they're tongue sticking out of their mouths.

Crazy. I went back to laker fishing last night. My brother in law and family is camping at Sampson so i took them out for a quick trip last night. Went 4/5 lost a dipsey due to a kink in the wire reeling in a fat laker. Was glad not to be perch fishing!
