Cayuga 7/24 - Evening Jigging

Headed north out from myers with a buddy last night around 6:30PM towards the power plant. Made a few stops along the way scouting for new spots to Jig and found a few options. Fish were very picky an strikes were all short. After dropping at least 4 fish we had half way to the boat, we put some stinger hooks on and that helped a little. Went 6 for 10 total with the biggest being 26" and 7.3 pounds (hard to weigh them live but it was the fattest one we have seen this year, so I had to know). Headed in around 10PM. All fish were released unharmed.

Stinger hooks help a lot. The lakers we have been catching are plenty fat too. How did you rig the stinger hooks?
