You'd be giving up while some of the hottest action is going on, If you don't have flees than you don't have fish.

Adapt to your conditions and throw some Blood Run Sea Flee on 30 is good stuff. 100' then a leader

use 30lb test. although you will get some fleas I've never had any major issue

We been pounding um too!! Flasher fly and FLT Mags. Great salmon fishing now for sure.

Last weekend was solid for us, but yesterday evening was tough.  Generally blank screens trolling straight of I-bay from 140-400 and back with only one fish on from 5-7:30pm.  Fleas weren't too bad (using flea flicker), but they did hang up on the wire divers.  Unfortunately our fishhawk probe found the bottom of the lake last Sat. so we were fishing a bit blind.
