Lake Erie Salmon Caught

Last night out of Dunkirk in a 100 ft of water we got a wild suprise on a downrigger 57ft down with a watermellon wd.  We ended the late afternoon trip with 1 brown, 4 lakers all 10 plus pounds, 6 eyes and this 6lb Coho.  Last erie salmon we caught was maybe 18 plus years ago.  we have been recently catching browns and a few steelies every time out mixed in with lots of eyes.

Nice, have seen them in the tribs spawning quite a few different times. No mistaking a big king or coho with a brown or steelhead

Last weekend yielded 2 - 3 Coho (including a 7 1/2# specimen) and 1 14.7# King off the PA Shoreline that I am aware of.
