Owasco owasco?

Anyone fishing owasco? Gotta pick boat up from a1 marine in moravia saturday and figured i would give owasco a shot while i was up that way. Any advice would be appreciated thanks in advance

Fished owasco Saturday and it was a a madplace.Constant traffic in and out. Anyrate i jigged up a limit of lakers about half way up the lake on right side in about 70 to 80 feet of water. Nothing big around 25 inches. Just right for the table. White jig with chartruce small zoom tube.Left at 11.

The fishing in Owasco lake is fine. The problem is with the Moravia Launch. It is quite shallow and has huge amounts of weeds. It has happened to me several times that huge clumps of weeds got stuck around the lower unit and I had to raise the outboard and hang over the stern to get the weeds off.

fished saturday, lakers all over the column, best bait was up north. riggers at 70-80, wires 240 at a #3 white spinny and fly, 5 color cores even taking lakers. small stinger spoons took better hits. purple, chrome and blue ones did best. fished over 90-150ft with sets 35-80 foot down, all took fish, but all were lakers.  good luck.
