I-Bay 8-9

Headed out early with my buddy and his son. Targeted Lakers with cowbells and glow peanuts from Shipbuilders to Hedges in 130-150 FOW and did a dozen in just a few hours with several doubles and a few that didn't make it into the boat. Moved to 200' and had a big fish taking line on the DR 150 down. Let my buddies 10 year old take the rod and after 20 minutes he had to tap out and give the rod to dad. He fought it about 10 more minutes and about 100' behind the boat the line broke. We never got a look but I think I know a couple of guys that are hooked on trolling as this is their first year fishing like this.
