Fishing Olcott

Any fish in or around Olcott yet?  How deep?

28.5 to 30 line is more stable water, dead zone inside 300 ft

correct me if I'm wrong.  But the 30 line is basically North / NNE out of the harbor, approximately 8-10 miles out?  My NOAA nav chart is showing 140-145 fathoms between the 28.5-30 lines.  Thats over 800ft deep.  Ive never come across water that deep out of Olcott.  Is my chart outdated or something?  Im used to being in 600fow at those lines.

800 feet is in the eastern basin, more in front of Oswego and little sodus. Nothing much over 600 under 30 lines on west end.

Thanks for the info.  Did not want to start an argument just curious if the fish are starting to stage in front of the Olcott Peers early this year.  I think me and my 1802 Trophy will wait a couple of more weeks until the fish come in.  I will keep in touch!
