The green is the way to go. I have shot all 4 colts and the green seems to stand out in bright light and of course low light. I hit a doe last season and didn't get a pass through and it was broad daylight and was able to follow the nock all the way through the woods til she disappeared over the ridge and found her and arrow glowing an hour later. The only pain in the butt is having to carry something to shut them off.

I really like my nocturnals, used them for the first time last year.  My brother shot a buck and we tracked the deer but seen the lighted Noc all lit still in the deer before we saw the deer.
