Started out targeting kings in the morning with just one release on a dodger squid but missed him. Moved into 130-150 east of Hedges and put my buddies on 7 lakers with the best at 18lbs. My one friend had never caught a laker and he had some fun.

Still looking to boat my first King on this boat

It's been a poke and hope game out there as well. We were out with the ships and didn't really mark to much and found a lot of scattered bait. It's kind of weird for this time of year. Usually find the bait and stay on it you can pretty much grind away on them but all that east wind messed everything up. He'll even the fleas are gone for the most part.

Thanks haven't taken the boat out that far yet, it's 20' Lund Tyee. Not sure how many miles off shore that is exactly and want to make sure I have a good forecast before heading out.
