Any of you had problems with water getting into your display unit for your FishHawk X4?  Trevor at FishHawk has been very responsive and great to work with, and instructed me to open it up to let it dry out, but I have concerns that these may not be as waterproof as one would like to believe.

Not water but some sort of discoloration in a small area of the screen just appeared out of nowhere. Kinda yellow looking on the inside of the cover. Weird. Mine is on the back of the boat. Pretty exposed to elements. I did make a zip lock with holes to fit the plugs just for extra insurance.

I have come to find that the display is "water resistant" not actually waterproof.  Seems odd that a marine LCD unit would not be completely waterproof.
