I only had one HD SPRO swivel left when I built up a new 400 copper yesterday so I used it between the Power Pro and the copper. I used a more basic 80lb. SPRO swivel between the copper and Leader. My only fear is that the radius bend in the copper going through the basic SPRO is tighter. I did run the  copper thru the eye twice. What do you think fellas. Are any of you having good luck with the basic swivels or are they breaking the copper? Thanks

I just bought these and may refit the copper with them in the winter months.

I bought them because a friend of mine uses them and he swears by them, hasn't

had any issues to my knowledge.

I use the #8 power swivels (50 lb test) for my connections because they are nice and small as well as strong and go through the rod eyes and tips well. i only loop the copper once and then make a lot of tight twists up the main wire and have never had one separate.

I have been running the basic 50lbers on my copper using the haywire twist with no problems.
