Central lake bouy reads 71 water surface. What is your near shore temps on top?

71.3 on top in 130fow. West wind blowing pretty good now.

I was told that a couple of the experienced older guys killed them in 50 to 70 fow and all on the bottom. This was at the oak.

Were r out of port bay... headed towards sodus. Worked 150-180 screen was pretty blank until I went to 130 finally marked hooks. Not one shot... back at it this aftrrnoon

It was a steady marking for us... about 75-85 down... big hooks. Well steady as in some... ans bait pods... not sure what to do this evening. East or west...

It's pretty sad that, at the height of what should be a stellar salmon month...and we are trying to make something out of much of nothing!..what's the fisherman to do but make fun out of something...anything..what the heck we gonna do in another month..

I've been hoping that things are just running late but at this point I wouldn't be betting my house on it.....just can't help but think that a year class or two may have been decimated by whatever means and at this point in the season there certainly have been much better results for sure.
