DEC FISHING REGULATIONS ON LAKE ONTARIO

The Question got brought up about fishing hours on Lake Ontario ,some people ,including me thought it was from sunrise to sunset, others are saying

you can fish for them all night. I do see in the DEC book you can fish all year for Browns, Coho's, Kings, Steelhead, but I do not find a specific time of day set.

I'm inclined to believe there is no set hour?? All replies are appreciated

You can fish the lake 24/7

There are special regulations for the tributaries

Ditto rich...... I've tried a couple times with mixed results. Lakers always hit the line where kings I struggled. But full moon clear skies and the fish are feeding.

no in most cases like SR and oswego it is marked by bridges

I believe the Salmon River limits are designated buoys between the breakwalls.........which is violated almost nightly when the run starts.

Night fishing aloud to the route 18 bridges on the streams our way, not sure to the east .
