Legacy- 2015 Deer Season

Haven't been out but checked cams last night.  Had 6 different bucks make/hit a scrape under the apple tree my camera's on on 2 nights ago.  Things are ready to bust loose!

Was a good morning lots of activity saw 7 buck and 4 doe.

The big 9 pt buck paid a visit yesterday afternoon while I wasn't there of course, came to the scape and walk right towards my stand.

Just settled on to one of my best buck spots I the middle of the hardwoods. They should be on the move tonight.

Matt good luck but it's still early,for some reason the spot I hunted this a.m. Is alway starting earlier than my other areas

I am also in one of my best stands tonight. Tough to believe, 23 days in and this is the first sit of the year in this set.

I think it depends on the time of the year. Early season= a couple of hours on both sunrise and sunset. Rut= as much time as you can spare. I showed up today at 4.

Just got out and jumped 2 deer on the way to my stand. Guys when you set your alarms make sure they say AM not PM.

I don't need an alarm to wake up

I generally don't and didn't this morning but I woke up at 5 and figured my alarm will wake me back up in a half hour. Then in a "half hour" when I woke up there was light in my window.

1 single deer came through in dark and nothing since. Should have duck hunted..... lol. Hopefully for little late morning movement

Lake side for sure had a solid hour of shooting ....haven't even shouldered our guns at our spot

The apple tree this scrape has been dead for about 3 years and they still make a scrape in the exact same spot every year.
