Old saying "flight of the blue Jay, path of the buck" not sure where it came from, but true.

I hope I climb in my stand in the morning and there is fox running by , hawks above, blue Jays on every branch, and red squirrels running up and down every tree!

Speaking of blue jays, I have a spot I have killed a few bucks and does up in my northern tier spot that I'm going to sit in tomorrow morning. Been trying every Saturday during rifle season to help a friend fill his 6k doe tag, I saw 1 unknown this season but I'll give it 1 more try. Probably do another sit or 2 behind my house with the bow but last time to go up north with the 30 30. Hope those blue jays bring me some luck.....

Good to finally see the wind settling down. NW 10mph here with occasional gusts. A chilly 34 degrees too.

Just passed a decent 2.5 year old 8 point at about 7 yards. He was trotting around going in circles, nose to the ground, head up looking around just freaking out.
