I have enjoyed reading this thread as well.  My season, my family's season has been less than expected, but, I still enjoy seeing other people have success and love reading the texts from the tree stands.  That is very cool.  I want to go fishing too but part of me can't break away fromt he hunt.

Good luck to everyone still trying to get r dun.

This morning's view! I hung this stand for my kid early this year and I have not sat here until today. Bedding to my south, swamp to my north, and hardwoods to my right.

This has been a nice tread to follow this year. Tough hunting for myself with lots of hrs in stands. Have seen some nice bucks posted and hopefully some more.

Hiked in and pulled cameras after hunting this morning. According to the date stamp, I havent been there for a month. This guy has been hanging around.

I'd hazard a guess that he's only a 1.5 year old deer based on his body frame. He will be a spectacular beast next year if he's growing that fast with good genetics and food mast in your wood lot.

Thanks for sharing,

It's been tough to sit without many sightings here, temps are climbing for the weekend... but I can't give up till the 22nd cause deer season only comes once a year!! I see some does and a small buck on my cameras but only at night. They'll make a mistake one of these days!

With mud up high on that deer's legs you know he has been in some soggy areas.

My view of the sunset.... it was much more pinkish than the pic allows. Sat 1 till dark. No movement, surprisingly a few shots around

Well my morning was screwed before I even sat down

Bumped at least 3 deer by my stand coming in

Kudos the guy driving 30 mph in front of me and not letting me pass for 7 miles

Don't you just love that!! 9 times out of 10 it was a elderly person going for the paper!! Happens to me every F/N time without fail!!! I'm usually the first person up and at the destination we agree on by 20 mins. But every once in a while I would have made it if the person in front of me wasn't stuck in granny gear. LOL
