if you were going to try for salmon this week end in mexico bay,where would you start.i am thinking 80-100 fow . after the first light try for browns.

Last year people started getting them around 300-400Fow. BUt that changes all the time. I would start in 150' and go from there.

Lots of nice big marks in the 70-90 area, with bait. Not sure if they are all Atlantics, but the screen looked good. LEt me know how you do. Good Luck.

thanks guys.saw your post.just had a hunch 80-100 might be worth a try.weather allowing you can find me there 3:30-4:00 pm sat.and i post em all,good and bad.and i have a couple of those jake frogs along with a rainbow smelt which worked even better for me last year.
