Twili Tip needed on a rod with all stainless steel guides?

I am getting into copper fishing...I have ordered the Okuma Pro GLT rods with the stainless steel guides all the way up. Is a Twili tip needed for this rod when running copper? My thought is no but would like an opinion...thanks..

twili tip is not needed for copper. Only for thin wire like that used for diver rods
