Love to hear the report.  We're hoping to go out Saturday for our first trip ever on our own.  Hope the weather is doable.  If it is, we're going to be looking for a starting point and would love some advice.

Yep, right in front of the channel.  Marked fish both to the west and east, but stayed very close doing figure 8s.  Lots of traffic last night - mostly sail boats -  but early should be better.

I think hits at this time of the year are based out of aggression, not feeding, but typically I like to be out by first light and would still do so now even if I have to piss off the fish to get them to hit.  That said, I fished from 3:45pm until 6:30 yesterday afternoon because that was when I had time.

Go out in the Dark.... 0515. Charge up Mag glow spoons on slide divers and riggers.... Glow J plugs with rattles too. 2.7 mph.... Don't run your leads farther than 75 ft
