hey guys just joined this thread. I just recently moved here from boston and am an avid fly fisherman of all species. i went to school in northern vermont where the pike fishing on otter creek and lake champlain was awesome but i mostly go for trout as that is my favorite species. i am going to be fishing otisco lake and would love some tips on where to find some tigers in shallow waters that a fly fisherman from a canoe can fish for. i've heard the causeway is a good place to start but if anyone has any tips that would be awesome. anyways psyched to be a part of this community and hopefully will have some pics and reports to share as i start getting on the water more and more.

Welcome flyguy and go bills. You should be able to get some tigers near the causeway from a canoe from now through ice up. Fish from the cartop launch to the marina and back. 10 fow or less.
