Had my archery target in my back yard pushed over sometime last night.  I have deer close by but it seemed a little for this to happen.

I had to move my 3D target up next to my shed cause at least once a week I would find it either knocked over or pieces here and there. You really want to piss him off, put it out during the rut and put some estrous on its ass. Funny to see a buck try to nail the target. Wish I could find the trail cam pic I had of it in my backyard 2 seasons ago

I have a few younger bucks on camera that just started light sparring with in the last couple days. About half are still in velvet

The second bucks lose their velvet they are ready to play with their new antlers.

It's all hormone triggered. When the velvet comes off the testosterone start building in there system. You will notice that the bachelor groups start to dissolve and then the dominance starts to take hold. Does do this to but it's not as prevalent as bucks. Younger bucks can't control it so yet you tend to see the sparring like Legacy said new toys so they have to play.

Great pictures Bosun Cowboy.  Walking the dog this morning I saw an old scrape tore up this morning on the edge of a field

Landindzone, my deer target gets attacked by bears occasionally. It has deep claw marks on its side, an bite marks on it.

I don't have that problem, ..... yet. They are getting closer all the time.
