Flasher and flies on the finger lakes

I've read about the use of flasher/flies on Seneca Lake and even tried them last week with limited success. Will they work on the smaller lakes like Canandaigua? If flies do work on the smaller Finger Lakes, what size do you use and what size flasher would be appropriate for such skittish fish?

Yes, they will work on Canandaigua Lake. I'd try the 8" flashers to start with; I have seen some fish taken that way. Good Luck!

Jay We put some big Lakers in the boat (8 to 10 lbs) this week on Canandaigua. Spin Doctors and Flys on wire line dipseys.

E-chips, spin doc's w/flies & squids do very well on lakers in Cayuga, I'm sure they'll work well on Canandagiua (sp).
