Ok,I should know this,as I've been fishing,and keeping my boat in Olcott for twenty years,but i have to admit,that i don't.

Does New York have Ethanol in their gas?,and is it required to be stated as such,on the pumps?

I ask, because i don't see it on the pumps at gas stations,or at the marina fuel docks.

I always fuel up at the Olcott/Newfane Marina fuel dock,as it's the same price as in town gas stations, and is more convienient.

Does anyone know if it's a federal law,or a state law requiring gas pumps to be labeled, stating the percentage of ethanol?

Thanks Greg, yeah,I'm pretty familiar with ethanol and it's problems, but i wasn't sure if New York has it in their fuel(i assume it does),but in my state of Mass,it's required to be posted,(as it is) on the pumps.

I don't see it on the pumps in New York,so i wasn't sure.I know that some states have only recently switched to ethanol as an additive.

im pretty sure that it is posted on the pumps for the stations that have it

Sunoco stations have Ethanol 10%, i think they are the only ones(or atleast the only ones that post it)

We filled up Erbys boat in the center of Wilson. The station there has no ethanol in their gas. I asked the guy who runs the place.

it should be posted, if it contains ethanol.
