Wow that is an impressive fish of a lifetime for sure!  My only purebread Musky landed was 48" and an experience I will never forget.  I caught it in much more comfortable conditions as it was late July and almost 90 degrees out that day getting a sunburn but I would take a 56" over that in snotty weather any day.  Nice job, landing a fish like that is very fortunate but not lucky since there is a lot of know-how that goes into getting in that position in the first place.
