Finally got out early this morning and it paid off. We ended up 16 for 20 with the largest being a 20# king. Had another teanager, alot of 1-2 year olds, 3 lakers and a bow. All fish in 75-100 fow from the surface to 60 ft. down. Really hot between 6-9 am then slowed for the last 1 1/2 hours. The fish hit everything we threw at them with the two largest kings taking the wires, spin dr & flies. (What else).

Awesome fishing!!

No copper yet. Tom was complaining so much about reeling it in I'm not sure if I want to run it or not. Yeah any time you want to hop on, I'll steal some of your tips...

We had a rip on the copper last weekend and it took him 15 minutes to realize the fish was off and another 10 minutes to reel the rest in. I thought he was going to pass out.

Thanks for the great report.

What was the temp range on the surface? Also, did you run your boat right out of Genny River of I bay?

I look forward to getting out this weekend.

Tight lines.

Pikehunter,

I'm at shumway this year. Surface temp was 49-51 degrees. My Fishhawk is on the blink again.
