Just wondering what they could be, they were suspended about 10 feet off bottom with the odd fish on bottom. I figured browns or lakers. Just looking for some input before I dedicate any time to fishing them.

Saw the same thing last Sunday off the Niagara Bar. Thought they might be browns and trolled for a couple of hours but no takers. Lots of bait from the river on out.

Agreed,  most likely Lake Trout.  There are some videos of spawning Lake Trout on reefs in Lake Huron and you will see how densely they can stack.  We see these crazy screens in the spring off Niagara county and they are usually Lake Trout.  If the hooks appear small and pointed slightly upward and you are not catching, they could be adult Gizzard Shad (12-15").

Thanks for sharing I hope that they can accomplish this in lakeO, I especially like the idea of the walleye making a comeback. If those lakes can do it I'm sure lake O can accomplish the same. Thanks again GILL T
