Headed out the chamber with a buddy to try hand lining copper. Mostly to see how he does it cause he says he never gets skunked and to see if we could get the right speed in my boat. We got couple hits, I showed him how boards worked. Large silver fish jumped and gave us hope. We ran into a very large boat school around 50ft deep out in the center. I didn't have a jigging pole with me or would gave it a shot. Looks like the fish and bait are starting to move back into the north end. Water was very clear. About 10 or 15 ft visibility down. Water temps where still 54°.

Going to give the shallow water a try.
