Shot a bird with a band yesterday.  Figured it was just a local.  Wrong.  Went to bird band website and entered the information.  Banded in KANGIRSUK, QUÉBEC.  Look that one up on Google Maps!!

Lot of migrators coming with all of this wind.... I'd be willing to bet there will be some weird birds too....every year we hear of or see, Atlantic Eiders, Harliquin, or even a King Eider.... Good job on the Zales....

That one sure had a some traveling under its belt.

I sometimes wish that the ones that migrate be left alone and the ones that settle in the local shopping center ponds and sports fields be hunted
