ok somebody tell me how you run 2 wires on 1 side along with the copper and not get a absolute mess of a tangle. Lost my copper in the pro am last week. I know it produces more fish would love to hear from the experts.

Just run your copper way out on the big boards and turn a lot slower. Turning slower is the key to keeping them from tangling.

last weekend during the proam we ran 4 downriggers (1 w/ a cheater, 2 dipsey rods (wire) , and 2 leadcore rods ( a 10 color and an 8 color) on a 10' beam without using planer boards.

1. pay attention to your leads and depths

2. be careful on your turns

3. if you have a big fish on clear the leadcore

4. if you do get tangled .....good luck

you can run 2 wire dipsey rods on the same side by running the first one deep and tight ,and the other high and wide.

when you get a nice fish on dont be afraid to pull lines that are high in the water column.

guys, much appreciated. The way the lake is now it only makes sense to get the lures as far away as possible from the boat.
