It has been phenomenal. I've been throwing mostly Berkley Cutters. The slight pause makes such a huge difference

i have not had much luck this year in my regular spots on the south shore.  best outing was 2 so far, i throw rapala flat rap size 8 in silver.  usually don't need to take it off all fall

Neoprene waders, but you can launch a boat.... waders are nice cause your mobile. Able to drive to different spots without even undressing. From 81 to sylvan there are 6 places I know of on the south shore. Not familiar with the north shore, but I can think of 4 spots

I have had a horrible fall for eyes as well.  As much wind as we have had, each night I went out in October it managed to be dead calm with only pickerel hitting.  One night I stung 2 eyes and dropped both at a rods length away.  Gave up on em after that and have been catching rainbows from shore since Halloween
