Chaumont Bay Walleye

Did some trolling this evening before the quick rain came through. Water was very calm early and late afternoonish. Caught two walleye: one 25" about 5.5 lbs and the other 27" about 6.25 lbs. Caught the two around the same area on the sale lure about 15-20 minutes apart. The bite was around 6 or 6:30ish. Used stickbaits rapalas and smithwicks. Ate the cheeks tonight and froze the rest for later. Good times!!

shallow runners or deep divers?

if you dont mind sharing, what part of the bay or depths. thanks ,chris

Shallow runners around 6:00 to 6:30. Storm was coming in so the light was fading somewhat. There was another boat out around the same spot I was in. I was out around Shangri-la off Pt. Peninsula.
