braddocks bay ice

Went out today on my day off to check the ice there is about 3 inches of good ice I walked out past the docks and drilled a few holes to measure I went all the way home to get my gear come back get to the small corner store/ bait shop right near the marina and the place doesn't have any bait. The bait tanks are out of order and I was told they don't know when they will have them back so I'm just going to assume they won't have them for the rest of the winter so save yourself the trip next time you want to goto braddocks if you gotta get bait make sure you get it before you get to the bay other wise your screwed like I was. And yes the water level is very low in the bay (at least where I walked out to)

Mitchells is not far.........

I know Mitchells isn't far it's just an extra 20 mins away from my house. It turns a 20 min drive to the bay to a 40 min drive the lake Ave then back to the bay.
