I've been in the site for a while now, time to introduce...

 

I've spent every summer of my life on Lake Ontario (Sackets Harbor) and am bringing my children there. My grandfather took me fishing for smallies and perch since I can remember. He took me out in a 14' 1966 deep-v starcraft my family calls the green boat. He left her to me and she is still seaworthy!

 

My fishing progressed from bass and perch to pike, and now walleye, browns, salmon, and lakers. New to that game, but have put in some time, some research (so much here) and of course $$$. Got myself a 1998 Trophy 1802 WA to get out farther and get through my learning curve!

 

This site is great, full of info, and most importantly awesome guys and gals!

Welcome Luke. My daughter went to college at New Paltz. Great little town and beautiful countryside there and we had some great visits there and convenient for taking the bus into NYC too. Best of luck during the upcoming season.
