41 lb King day before 2014 fall loc started.  Both downriggers fired simultaneously both fish immediately shot out of the water like missiles. First landed was 28 pounds and rite after the 41 pounder came to the net.

Sorry I do not have a picture,but my best fish ever was the first fish I ever caught. It was a 2 or 3 inch stickle back caught on a my own home made fishing rod which was a long twig.The line was a yard of sewing thread with a match stick for a bobber. The bait was a worm tied to the line with a knot ,without a hook.

It is about 55 years ago,but it is one of those things that I will never forget.

That's awesome rolmops, I have a similar memory, but I was lucky enough dad had a hook for me, just the hook no leader, my line was butcher twine and a green cut Apple stick, I caught my first trout in a stream that ran through the cow pasture. I saw the fish but I had to wait till the season opened.
